Mission

Fall  prevention is everyone's responsibility.  Current evidence shows high  rates of falls across all healthcare settings, especially in the long  term care environment.  For many older adults, falling can be a travesty  highlighted by significant after effects.  Healthcare professionals are  poised to help prevent falls and serious injuries, when equipped with  the right skills, knowledge and tools.
Licensed medical care nursing homes and facilities  are legally obligated, to provide acceptable standards of care to  ensure the well-being and safety of it's residents.  Failure to provide  due diligence for preventable falls, could result in litigation and/or  monetary fines.
The Fall Prevention Group, is dedicated to helping  healthcare organizations and it's front-line nursing staff,  adopt the  right set of skills, knowledge and tools to reduce and/or prevent falls.
